♥︎ You entered inside The Nursery! ♥︎
Where would you like to go? Feel free to visit our wards and say hi to our residents!

The Porch Ward
The silence here is not empty. It is a reminder.

Grandmother Thorn
"Oh, hello... Did you need anything?"
Where the weary find family...
Where the oldest residents rest, those who’ve been at The Nursery from the start. They are memory-keepers, slow breathers, watchers. It’s warm and still. There’s the smell of tea, old paper, and melted wax. No sounds, just quiet yawns and sighs.Respected by all, there’s a quiet pride in being from The Porch... Although no one wants to think they might end up there. The Porch Ward feels like the final page in a book you never finished reading. They remember everything, so if you're searching for answers... The Porch knows. Just ask.
Controlled Activity: Evening Reflection, 7:00 PM, a quiet hour of journaling or meditation. Completed reflections must be handed over to the nearest Carer or Helper for review. The results are carefully monitored for any signs of deviation or distress.

The Gallery Ward
Everyone’s watching — so don’t blink.

Clara
"Hi, flower! Are you coming to our show tonight?"
Home to the beloved and admired.
Perfect collection of beautiful creatures! Every one of them is picturesque and adored. And if you’re not? Well, perhaps you were never really a part of the Gallery at all.The halls are filled with warm light and always smell of fresh paint. Frames line the walls, some filled, some waiting. There’s always a hum of conversation, like the intermission between acts. The Gallery Ward is the most talked-about in the Nursery. There’s always something new to admire… or gossip about. But, behind all the curtains and applause, they're just residents who have found comfort in movement, in colour, in being admired. The Gallery doesn't just want to be loved — it wants to love back.
Controlled Activity: "What’s Missing" Inspection. Every day, at a time randomly selected, a Carer or Helper will conduct a brief room inspection in each ward. The purpose is to ensure that rooms are both clean and orderly, as well as to confirm that no items are missing or out of place. Any discrepancies will be noted for further review.

The Nook Ward
You could’ve helped, but instead, you just hid and waited…

Fawn Pine
"Hi!.."
A quiet corner for the overlooked and in-between.
Who again? Ah, The Nook… Yes, the quiet, kind, awkward residents who don’t seem to belong anywhere else. Their first instinct would be to hide, and then think - it's just easier this way. Eventually, the easiest thing becomes silence.Cozy, cluttered, soft. Pillows never match, plants sit in chipped pots… It feels like everyone is always asleep in The Nook — even when it’s empty. The Nook is easy to overlook, easy to forget, but no one really dislikes it. What’s there to dislike, after all, when there’s nothing to see?Things grow better around them. If you need a place to hide for a while, they’ll make space without a word, and care for you quietly, until something soft starts blooming inside you.
Controlled Activity: At designated hours, Carers will silently patrol the ward, observing the residents without interference. Any unusual behavior or signs of unrest will be carefully noted for further attention.

The Attic Ward
The untreated scar of The Nursery.

Patch
"What are you doing here?.. I mean, hello. Sorry."
This is where the story goes wrong.
For the misunderstood, the feared, the ones who don’t make sense. The air hums with the weight of unspoken things. Staff rarely come unless absolutely necessary.Rules aren’t enforced… they’re felt. Don’t knock on the door. Use the key. Don’t leave your bed during night time. Don’t ask about [REDACTED].Feared by the Gallery, ignored by the Porch, quietly understood by the Nook…
Mr. Cardius is always doing his best to care for the Attic Ward. He checks in regularly, ensures the residents are well looked after, and addresses any concerns. Mr. Cardius believes there’s no need to worry. The Attic is in good hands!
Controlled Activity: 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM, a patrol of the ward is made by a Carer, ensuring the residents are all in their designated beds and asleep.

From Mr. Cardius
Hello, dear reader. My name is Mr. Cardius, the owner and sole caretaker of The Nursery. Rather than offer you some description composed by another hand, I thought I would write this part about me myself. It only seems sensible, don’t you agree? My name is Cardius, I was born in the city. It’s where I spent most of my childhood and adolescence. My early adult life - It wasn’t without its struggles, I’ll admit. I often found myself drawn to, shall we say, unconventional interests. Things that others found strange or even alarming. I suppose I was a bit of a social misfit, really.
ERASED BY REQEST. 12.Dec.47NR
Our transition from that life to this one hasn't been smooth. But that story is too long for this paper... Lets just say, my longing for technology and invention brought me to the point at which I could no longer stay there. It was she who helped me to understand this, and gave me new hope hope to seek our own happiness. For many long years, I have made this place my life's work. Every brick, every quiet corner has known the sound of my footsteps. I have given my days to building this place for those in need.I would say my patience and devotion are my main weapons in the fight against the troubles. We’ve been running this place for decades, and I’ve seen all sorts of unique and difficult cases come through these doors... I like to think that a strong heart and a warm hand can heal more than anyone can imagine. I also have a sharp mind, and a knack for remembering details...So, that’s all, for now. I don't have much more to add at the moment. I do hope you found it interesting, and that you’ve gathered a little picture of my life.Until next time,
Mr. Cardius
